Dr. Igor G. Turok

Dr. Igor G. Turok opened his own private practice so that he could deliver the highest quality of care in an advanced, self-contained center. He is one of 200 physicians in the nation who is Board Certified in Neurology and Anesthesia, Interventional Pain Management. Dr. Turok was a Director of Neurology and Pain Management at Masonicare Health Center at Wallingford and Newtown locations. Dr. Turok was a Director of Neurology and Pain Management at Gracie Square Hospital (Cornell) in NYC. Dr. Turok had been involved in Palliative Care and Hospice and acted as a Medical Director at Jakow Perlow Hospice of New York. As a pain management specialist, Dr. Turok had been exposed to the field of Addiction which led him to become a Director of Saint Vincent’s Methadone Clinic.
Dr. Turok received his interventional pain management training at Beth Israel Medical Center/Albert Einstein School of Medicine, rated one of the top interventional pain management programs in the nation. He received his Neurology training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, one of the highest ranked departments in Northeast, and one of the leading programs in the nation. Dr. Turok is an active member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the American Academy of Neurology and Psychiatry, the American Society of Anesthesiology, and the International Spine Intervention Society.

Dr. Turok treats all pain syndromes and performs a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and surgeries, including Botox injections, injections of Platelet Rich Plasma, AmnioFix injections, epidural, selective nerve root blocks, sympathetic nerve blocks, facet and sacroiliac joint injections, radiofrequency rhyzotomy, kyphoplasty, and spinal cord stimulation.

Dr. Turok treats all neurological diseases. He specializes in preventative measures while utilizing highly sophisticated and noninvasive testing such as ultrasonography, electroencephalography, nystagmography, and electromyography. Multiple investigative modalities are used in order to establish the correct diagnosis and set up an appropriate protocol of care.

Dr. Turok truly believes in improving a person’s outlook on life which led him to establish himself as an integral part of the medical aesthetic community. He is certified and trained by the Esthetic Skin Institute to perform advanced aesthetic procedures.

Dr. Turok opened a wellness center to offer various aesthetic treatment options such as injections of cosmetic Botulinum toxin for glabellar lines, smoker’s lines and crow’s feet as well as for excessive underarm sweating. Dr. Turok also utilizes a variety of dermal fillers (Radiesse, Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, and Belotero) to augment and prevent the appearance of fine to deep lines as well as restore volume of cheeks, nasolabial folds and other areas. Lastly, Dr. Turok also injects Platelet Rich Plasma in order to rejuvenate the skin and reverse the aging process. Dr. Turok is certified to inject Kybella (deoxycholic acid) which helps safely dissipate submental fullness.

Dr. Turok believes in a holistic approach to every person’s medical or aesthetic situation. Patients are routinely involved in yoga exercises, massage therapy and manual therapy which play an intricate role in the anti-aging protocol.

Tyler Mammone, APRN, FNP-BC

Tyler Mammone is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who is Board-Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY and her Master of Science degree in nursing from Fairfield University. Tyler has experience working as a Registered Nurse in clinical neuroscience research and psychiatry. She completed her clinical training in primary care, pediatrics, gynecology, obstetrics and dermatology. Tyler is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau National Nursing Honor Society. Tyler is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care in the treatment of various neurological conditions and pain management with a special interest in aesthetic medicine. Tyler is known for her professionalism and compassion and believes in using a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to provide the best quality of care for all of her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family & friends, watching hockey, and is the mother of a loving Samoyed named Oakley.

Tzipora Vail, PT, DPT

Dr. Tzipora Vail, PT, DPT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy working with clients at Connecticut Pain Solutions. Dr. Vail attended Touro College in Brooklyn, New York for her undergraduate studies and received her doctorate in physical therapy at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn New York. Dr. Vail went on to complete her 200-hour certified course to become a yoga instructor through KinneretYoga, a Registered Yoga Alliance School, as a complement to her physical therapy for a more holistic approach in pain management and in restoration of functional mobility. She is experienced in working with various populations, including patients of all age groups, children through geriatrics. Dr. Vail is available to work with her clients on issues related to mobility throughout the body, ergonomics training to prevent pain syndromes, pelvic floor and core strengthening, cervicogenic headaches, back and neck pain and treatment for balance issues and vertigo. Dr. Tzipora Vail is originally from Brooklyn, New York and currently lives in Southern Connecticut with her husband and children.

Dr. Vincent Cavallaro, DC

Dr. Vincent Cavallaro, DC is an award-winning chiropractor who graduated cum laude from Logan University in 2014. Upon completion of his degree, Dr. Cavallaro was awarded Who's Who in American Colleges & Universities (2014) and the Award of Excellence in Radiology and Differential Diagnosis. He has several years of practice in multidisciplinary settings. He spent the majority of his career at an outstanding practice in North Jersey, Oakland Spine & Physical Therapy. He recently worked at a prestigious practice in New York City, Back and Body Medical.

Through his experience, Dr. Cavallaro developed vast clinical knowledge working alongside other health care practitioners such as medical doctors, acupuncturists, physical therapists, and massage therapists. This exposure allowed him to see a vast array of patients with conditions ranging from wellness care to severe back pain. Dr. Cavallaro is excited to bring his experience and hands on approach to Connecticut Pain Solutions to help as many people as possible.
