StemCell Injection

Stem Cell Recruitment Therapy™ uses a single injection of Human Amniotic Fluid (AF) to enhance the body's natural healing. Rich in growth factors, AF supports tissue repair, reduces inflammation, and offers benefits beyond typical injections, such as cortisone. It's effective for various spinal, joint, and soft tissue injuries, and provides a painless, quick alternative to surgery. Most insurances cover this treatment; consult your physician for coverage details.

What is Stem Cell Recruitment Therapy™?

Stem Cell Recruitment Therapy™ is safe and effective, helping the body boost its ability to heal itself. It is administered through a single injection of Human Amniotic Fluid (AF).

What is an Amniotic Fluid Injection (AF)?

Amniotic Fluid contains a rich mixture of collagens, cytokines, elastins and growth factors that creates an extra-cellular matrix which supports healing and has the potential to reduce scarring and inflammation. AF is filled with growth factors which assist the body in tissue repair, reducing pain and inflammation and contributing to the regeneration and reconstruction of injured tissue.

What benefits does Stem Cell Recruitment™ Injections offer?

  • Powerful Treatment: Helps to relieve pain associated with joints, soft tissue and spinal injuries.
  • Convenient & Painless: 15-minute in office, single injection.
  • All Natural & Drug-free: Contains a large concentration of Growth Factors, including
bFGF “Basic fibroblast growth factor”—this is a signaling protein encoded by a gene that
assists in cell growth and maturation, and tissue repair.
  • Quick & Reduced Recovery Time: Return to everyday, low impact activities.
  • Safe, Non-steroidal Alternative to Surgery: Helps recruit your body’s stem cells and
healing components to reconstruct and regenerate the injured tissue that is causing pain.

Patients have reported pain relief from the following:

  • Spinal injuries: neck pain, mid or lower back pain, sacroiliac joints.
  • Joint Injuries: knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, wrists, ankles, fingers and toes.
  • Soft tissue injuries: plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, rotator cuff syndrome

How does amniotic fluid injections work?

Amniotic Fluid takes advantage of the body’s ability to repair itself. With an amniotic fluid injection, your physician injects the amniotic fluid from donated amniotic tissue into your body. The amniotic fluid has anti-inflammatory properties, similar to cortisone and steroid shots. However, amniotic fluid goes far beyond the benefits of standard “injection therapy.”

While cortisone and other drugs only provide temporary pain relief, amniotic fluid helps restore degenerated tissue while providing pain relief. The growth factors in the amniotic fluid may recruit your body’s own stem cells, directly mitigating the repair and regeneration of healthy tissue. Additionally, amniotic fluid injections contain hyaluronic acid, helping to lubricate joints and tendons, easing the pain and helping restore mobility.

Are Stem Cell Recruitment™ Injections covered by insurance?

Yes, amniotic fluid injections are covered by insurances. Consult your physician to see if you are covered.

Full Stories Of Why
Clients Are Satisfied With Our Treatments

Dr. Turok spent the time to discuss my condition and provided alternative ways to try to treat the condition.  He was very knowledgeable. He and his staff were very friendly.   I would highly recommend this practice. This a follow up to my previous post. Six weeks ago I had PRP treatment for hemifacial spasm and blepharospasm for the left side of my face.  I had been suffering for almost 18 months with this condition. The one treatment gave me 75% improvement with my condition.   I had a second treatment today and hope this is as good as the first. For those who have tried other treatments I highly recommend trying the PRP with Dr. Turok.

I have been recovering from plantar fasciitis and ankle pain for multiple years following multiple basketball injuries and decided to try out Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy a couple of weeks ago. Plantar fasciitis takes a while to recover, so on paper, injecting platelet cells directly into the area will promote healing and speed up this lengthy recovery process so I can get back to my favorite activities as fast as possible. Sure enough, a couple of days after the PRP injection my foot started feeling better. The inflammation has drastically decreased and a lot of pain has gone away. Now, two weeks after the procedure, the foot is still feeling great! Dr. Turok recommends resting the area for 6 weeks after the procedure, so I can only project my injury getting better. Overall, my experience at Connecticut Pain Solutions has been very pleasant. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Turok himself is very knowledgeable and experienced in his practice. The procedure is very quick and painless, so I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to try out new things that might help them during their recovery!

I'm 101 years old and have been in chronic pain in my back and hip for years. I have tried every medication and procedure that has been recommended to me. The only treatment that has given me meaningful relief is the PRP injection provided by Dr. Turok. I am extremely thankful for the relief I am currently experiencing.
